I picked up the black and British Tan about a month and a half ago from the Cole Haan Store at their Highland Village location. The shoe size does run true to size, like a previous review stated. I do however, have to disagree on the ability to wear them right out the box with out much pain. This may have to do with the fact that I walk quite a bit around the Medical Center. It took about 2 weeks of solid wear to break them in, which is not so bad and is to be expected with leather shoes of this quality. I would just suggest that you make sure you don't get the pair they let people try on so both shoes will be at the same starting point.(This is really my only knock on their store, luckily I had a sales person who didn't muck about and made sure I got new pairs.) Also if you walk around during the day think about using thicker than normal socks at first to save your heals. After about a month the shoes have turned to butter. They are by far the most comfortable shoes I own. The British Tan looks great with a nice gray suit. I did wear them with a navy suit and they were a little to loud for my tastes so I am going to pick up their Dark Brown whenever I get a chance. As far as the belt goes I really did not find it difficult to find a belt at all. In all they are great shoes and will become more comfortable overtime with proper maintenance. I have recommend them to almost anyone who has asked. Last note as has be previously stated make sure you have a cleaning kit to keep them up to snuff.

I purchased the gray and the british tan for my husband & he loves them! Aside from being extremely comfortable, he gets many compliments when he wears these shoes! Very stylish too!

After looking around for a new pair of brown dress shoes I wound up getting a pair of the Madison Wings. After trying on Allen Edmonds, Too Boot NYC's, other high ends, etc. I realized that they were really stiff and in my opinion, overpriced. All of those had the beautiful look that I wanted but none of those had the fresh out of the box comfort that these Air Madision's have. With a shorter amount of time required for the break in period (and a lot less pain) I have been able to enjoy these shoes straight out of the box from day one. Be prepared for a narrower fit the first few times you wear them. They do stretch out and become even more comfortable. These run true to size (length). Overall these are a truly beautiful shoe. Well made and strikingly understated. Enjoy.

I purchased this shoe online for my son to wear in his wedding. We have had good experiences with the Air Nike line from Cole Haan in the past and felt confident ordering by the size he's previously found comfortable. He was thrilled with the shoe - the look, the fit, the style for his wedding (outdoor country casual). And, when the heavens opened and the rains came just as the vows began, they held up just fine for the stampede to the tent and, later, dancing in the mud. They cleaned up just fine and will serve him well into the future.

I have had these shoes for about 5 months now. I wear them every day, polish them regularly, and keep trees in them when they are not getting to know my feet. Right out of the box they looked great. They fit true to size, though are a few shades lighter than they look online. When wearing these bad boys, expect to strike up conversations with passerby's on "where you got those shoes from" "how the wingtip is making a casual comeback", or my personal favorite, "I'd love to tell you how awesome those shoes are over dinner". As for the belt situation, my 3sixteen golden belt matches perfectly. Saying there is no belt that pairs with the natural tones of the shoe shows a lack of effort.

The shoe looks great and feels even better. Unfortunately, there is no belt that actually matches this shoe. (Not even the "Madison British Tan Belt" which arguably only comes semi-close to matching the lighter tan in the sole) Good luck lugging this shoe between department stores in an effort to find a leather that matches its odd hue. I find it incredibly disappointing that not even Cole Haan can match their own leathers.
