I love these boots. I have had them on almost everyday since they arrived. I receive compliments on them more than any other boots that I have owned. They are wonderful!

I ordered the Cassie Boots in black (D39181), and I was really excited to get them. I was happy with both the fit and the lines. I usually wear an 8.5 M in shoes, and that is the size I ordered in these boots. However, I was surprised with the leather. When I read textured leather in the description, I did not think "nubuck," which is what most of the boots' leather resembles. The toes and heels are a nice black color, but most of the boots appear more like a dark charcoal. Because I want boots that are truly black, I have returned the boots.

I received the Cassie Boot this week and I like the texture of the leather. The boot does slip a little in the heel but boot socks or tights will help take care of that. I have slim legs and the fit is good. I like this boot so well I will order it in grey.

I love the leather of these boots. Very luxurious, sturdy and thick. But I wish they were not so roomy in the leg...I am still debating whether to keep them or not because there is a LOT of room in the shaft, like a more than an inch of empty space all around when I wear these bare-legged (I have 13.5'' calves and very slender legs). Also, I agree that they do have a lot of room in the heel, causing slight slippage when I walk. Shaft height is perfect though...they hit a few inches below my knees, and I'm 5'1''. ARE these boots supposed to be very roomy around the leg...is it the style? Someone enlighten me please.

I bought the black and the leather is really fine and the styling sophisticated but casual. Only problem is the heel is wide. My foot slides up and down more than it should. I'm keeping them because they are just the style I wanted but wish they were more form fitting in the heel.
