What does unlined mean?
BEST ANSWER: It means that the outside of the shoe is basically all of the shoe, that those holes go all the way through. No inner lining, unlike other models. It's supposed to be lighter for warm weather.

Your 7.5 W in your regular dress shoe is borderline still too narrow. Would unlined give me a little more room?
BEST ANSWER: If a standard men's W, or E width is not comfortable for you, you should look at shoes that are made in EE or EEE widths. The lining is millimeters thin and will not provide more room. It's the overall fit from heel to toe that needs to be wider for you. Best advice is to visit a better shoe store or deparment store and have your foot measured on a Brannock device for most accurate sizing.
