Please note, prepaid and authorized return labels will be generated only for those orders and items that comply with Cole Haan’s Return Policy. If you need further assistance, please call 800-695-8945.

Return Policy

Every Cole Haan product is backed by our long-standing tradition of quality and craftsmanship. Cole Haan will accept any unworn or unaltered merchandise within 30 days of the original purchase date. Cole Haan reserves the right to deny refunds for a returned item that does not comply with this policy.

For products purchased on www.ColeHaan.com, original shipping charges and any shipping taxes are non-refundable. Please allow 2-3 business days to process your return once received at our warehouse. You will receive a refund based on the original form of payment, minus a $7.95 shipping fee if your return is authorized after 14 days from your shipment date (and within the 30-day policy). Returns authorized within 14 days of the original shipment date will not be charged return shipping fees.

To return an item, please pack it in its original packaging and unworn condition. Any items purchased as Final Sale may not be returned or exchanged. If unable to refund your original payment, Cole Haan reserves the right to issue eGift card or an appeasement to the original purchaser. Alternate forms of payment will not be credited. Your credit will be issued once goods have been received and inspected by our warehouse. Please allow up to one billing cycle for the credit to post to your account.

Free Exchanges

During the returns process, you have the option to exchange your item(s) for the same style and color but a different size or width, with no return shipping cost. If you’d like to exchange for a different item, please place a new order online or give us a call to assist in placing one for you 800-695-8945.

Exchanges happen in three steps

  1. Choose your exchange item(s) and ship your original item(s) back to our warehouse.
    Initiate a return/exchange using the link above. Once complete, you’ll receive an
    emailed label to return your original item at no cost.
  2. Pay for your exchange order.
    After your return is on its way to our warehouse, you will receive an email with an invoice for your exchange order. Use the link in your invoice to pay for your order.
  3. Receive your refund.
    You will receive your refund after we have received your return to our warehouse or after you have
    paid for your exchange order, whichever happens first.

 Note: Your exchange item(s) will not ship until you have both shipped your original item back to our warehouse and paid for your exchange through your emailed invoice. Once you have paid your invoice, you will receive email updates regarding your exchange order including confirmation and shipping.

Unfortunately, item availability is not guaranteed so be sure to send your return item(s) as soon as possible to secure your exchange.

Gift Returns

If you wish to return a product that you received as a gift from ColeHaan.com or from a Cole Haan retail store, the refund will go to the original form of payment, i.e., the credit card used to purchase it. If you wish to exchange a gift purchased online at colehaan.com, please contact Customer Service at 800-695-8945 for assistance. When returning a gift, please provide the order number or purchaser name, address, and telephone number to assist in processing the return. If you return a gift that was purchased with a gift card, your gift card will be restored to its original value or a new one will be provided for you, to be used at any time on colehaan.com. Cole Haan Retail or Outlet Store Returns

Cole Haan stores can only process returns from purchases made at our retail and outlet stores, or www.colehaan.com as stated within our policy. All other requests should be directed to the original place of purchase. All full-price in-store purchases must be returned to Cole Haan full-price retail stores only. All outlet purchases must be returned to Cole Haan outlet stores only. All Cole Haan items purchased outside the United States must be returned in the country where the original purchase took place. Original form of payment must be present to receive a refund on that form of payment.
