I used to wear high heels 5/7 days a week for 12+ hours at a time, alas, those days are behind me (kids, home office, etc). However, these high Chelsea pumps were calling to me....like a Siren song....and I caved and got the patent leather cobalt blue. SO CUTE. I was worried they would be too high and uncomfortable, but not true! I wear them out with jeans, black pants, suede green skinnies...ok, so it's not like I'm going out every weekend and wearing them disco dancing till dawn, but for 4 or so hours at a bar then dinner, or for an evening at the movies/dinner/bar they are great. I wore them yesterday when I was sure my feet had ballooned to twice their size (lot of running yesterday) and they were fine.... walking from the movies to the bar and then standing up for a while,....super comfie. Gotta love that Nike Air.

I love CH shoes and have worn the talia, violet, and Lainey in the past but the Chelsea is my least favorite. I own 2 pairs and they are painful. Something about the angle just isn't right /comfortable. If you plan on walking more than a block or two or standing for periods of time these are not the right shoes.
